Business System Analyst

Overview

We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst who can bridge business needs with technical solutions by combining business analysis and hands-on systems development. In this role, you'll gather and translate business requirements, participate in software development and system enhancements, and support the successful delivery of ERP and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills and thrives in collaborating with both business users and development teams to deliver effective, high-quality solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

    - Lead requirements gathering sessions with business users and document Business Requirements Specifications (BRS), Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS), process flows, and other system documentation.
    - Analyze business processes and recommend improvements through system automation and digital solutions.
    - Serve as the liaison between business users and the development team to ensure accurate translation of business requirements into technical solutions.
    - Participate in the design, development, coding, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementation, and post-go- live support of ERP and other business applications.
    - Develop, modify, and maintain program code, system enhancements, reports, interfaces, and integrations in accordance with approved business requirements.
    - Support code updates, version control, technical documentation, database maintenance, and system performance optimization.
    - Assist in ERP implementation, system integration, research and development initiatives, and future digital transformation projects.
    - Coordinate system enhancement requests, issue resolution, change management activities, and user support.
    - Prepare user manuals, conduct end-user training, and provide post-implementation assistance.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, Software Developer, or a similar role.
    • Strong programming background and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
    • Full-Stack Developer with proven proficiency in Laravel and relational databases (SQL).
    • Adept at designing secure database architectures and accelerating full-cycle application development to deliver scalable business solutions.
    • Experience with ERP systems and enterprise business processes is an advantage.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Willing to work onsite at Chino Roces, Makati.
    • Can start immediately.
